An excellent embryology laboratory staffed by highly trained embryologists is crucial to IVF success. Eggs and sperm are delicate and must be handled with utmost care in a controlled environment. Contaminants introduced in the air including mold, bacteria, or pollutants can decrease success rates.
Our “state of the art” laboratory has meticulous quality control processes and was designed in collaboration with Alpha Environmental, Inc., one of the most highly regarded IVF lab environmental design companies. It has specially designed high tech air handling systems that include carbon filters, HEPA filters, permanganate filters, pressurized rooms, continuous air filtering, magnetic coordinated door locks, and top of the line incubators to provide the best possible environment for the embryos.
We have the latest equipment for performing ART procedures including ICSI, assisted hatching, preimplantation genetic diagnosis, and others.
The laboratory is certified by the College of American Pathologists (CAP), Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) and is FDA inspected. We also report our success rates annually to the CDC and the Society of Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART). Our staff has years of experience and includes two Ph.D. trained embryologists one of whom is certified as a high complexity laboratory director (HCLD).
