Undergraduate

He completed his undergraduate degree in Chemistry and Zoology at Brigham Young University.

Doctorate

He received a Health Professions Scholarship from the United States Air Force to attend the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle.

Residency

He was elected to AOA (Medical Honor Society) prior to graduation from the University of Washington in 1983. Dr. Blauer completed a four-year residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Keesler USAF Medical Center in Biloxi Mississippi.

Fellowship

Dr Blauer completed his infertility specialist, Reproductive Endocrinology, Infertility Fellowship subspecialty training at the Combined Federal Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology, Infertility at Walter Reed Army Medical Center (WRAMC), Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

Faculty Member & Director

Dr. Blauer has been on the faculty of four medical schools including the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS), Wright State University (WSU), University of South Carolina (USC) and the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC).

Co-Owner of RCC

After spending 21 years east of the Mississippi River, Dr Blauer was extremely pleased to return to the Salt Lake City Utah area to partner with Dr Heiner to practice reproductive endocrinology/infertility.

Dr Blauer loves to garden and grows the most beautiful flowers which are often on display at our Sandy clinic.

He was raised in Burley, Idaho. Dr Blauer served a mission for the LDS church in the Japan Fukuoka Mission from 1974-1976.

He has been happily married to Raye Jean Bosley since 1977 and has 6 children and 17 grandchildren.
